Here is a great spin on an American classic.  This 1954 Chevrolet restomod takes a great original design that you don’t often see and brings it up to date with modern colors, style, and technology.  From the gorgeous paint to the LS drivetrain to the custom air-conditioned interior, this one has come a long way since it hit first the road more than 70 years ago.

Originally a 210 Deluxe, this beauty was restored as a Bel Air with all the related trim which looks fantastic.  The two-tone pearlescent paint is far more brilliant than anything offered back in the 1950’s.  It really pops and has a nice sparkle as well.  All the chrome, emblems, and lenses are in excellent condition too.  A sunvisor adds to the look as do the 18” chrome 10-spoke American Racing wheels wearing Firestone 235/45 tires.

Power comes from an LS V8 that provides modern fuel injection, electronic ignition, and computer management.  This gives you all the benefits and performance that make LS swaps so attractive.  The transmission is a 4L60E 4-speed overdrive which feeds a Moser 12-bolt rear end.  Brakes have been converted to four-wheel discs and the rear suspension has been converted to a triangulated 4-link with adjustable coilovers.  Other features include an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans along with a custom dual exhaust.

The interior is the perfect match for the exterior, continuing the red and white Bel Air theme with custom work on the upholstery, door panels, and more.  The front bench seat is very comfortable and matches the rear.  Note the red seat belts throughout.  A full set of white-faced aftermarket gauges is present, all of which are functional and accurate.  The classic dashboard design, steering wheel, and horn ring all remain while a vintage-look digital radio has been installed.  Finally, the Vintage Air HVAC system will keep you comfortable at all times.  The trunk has been finished to match and houses the rear mounted battery in the spare tire compartment.

When it comes to Chevrolets from the 1950’s it can be hard to find something really nice that isn’t a tri-five (1955-57) or an early Impala.  While such cars are everywhere and have been done in every conceivable fashion, there are far fewer 1954 builds out there.  That might be a shame since they are very attractive cars, but it also means you will have very few equals with this one.
