Here is a 1932 Ford to get excited about.  This clean, well-built example combines the classic lines of a deuce coupe with modern construction and components, resulting in a street rod that runs as good as it looks.  Be sure to see all the pictures to appreciate everything it has to offer.  This one is loaded with great features throughout including a very healthy 350ci engine, 700R4 overdrive transmission, Ford 9” rear end, custom interior, air conditioning, power windows, and much more.

This custom build was completed in 2018 using all new parts.  The fiberglass body features a chopped top, left/right hood operation, and suicide doors with shaved hinges and handles.  It also has heat extractor vents in the side covers along with a flush mount fuel filler at the rear.  Everything was painted a dazzling blue and silver with a subtle stripe in between.  The body sits on a Timeless Rod and Custom chassis.  The build quality is evident when you look at the underside photos; everything is well thought out with a neat, orderly appearance.  It all rides on Boyds wheels with Cooper Zeon tires (215/45R17 front, 275/40R20 rear).  And attention California buyers!  This car has an SB100 smog exemption good for the life of the car.

The drivetrain uses a 350 ci small block built for this car in 2017 by Superior Machine of Sparks, NV.  Highlights include an Eagle steel crankshaft, Scat rods, Autotec 4032 forged pistons, and a Lunati Voodoo hydraulic roller camshaft.  The aluminum heads are from Summit Racing while the intake manifold is a Holley Sniper unit topped by an Edelbrock Performer carburetor.  It has only 500 miles since completion.  Other features include an MSD distributor, fabricated valve covers, a high capacity aluminum radiator, and a polished dual exhaust with a great sound.  Behind the engine sits a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission with an external cooler.  This feeds a Ford 9” rear end through a custom driveshaft.

Up front is an independent Heidts suspension along with rack and pinion steering, while the rear end uses a 4-link arrangement.  Everything is plated or polished for a brilliant look.  The car also has adjustable QA1 coilovers at all corners.  The braking system has 4-wheel discs from Wilwood with a power booster and proportioning valve.  Braided steel hoses are used throughout the brake and fuel systems.  You will also find charging ports and a disconnect switch underneath.

The custom interior features a two-tone gray theme across the seats, headliner, door panels, and lower console.  Like the exterior, everything has a clean and uncluttered look.  The bench seat is from TEA’s Design and tilts forward to reveal the rear speakers and a fire extinguisher.  Dual seat belts are also provided.  The dashboard takes a minimalist approach with just a center instrument cluster and a/c vents.  The keyswitch, headlight switch, and wiper controls are all tucked underneath.  The lower section houses dual hood release knobs while the console section houses the Vintage Air controls, power window switches, and a Kenwood audio unit with Bluetooth.  Other features include a tilt steering column along with a working horn and parking brake.  There is also an electric actuator for the fully finished trunk.  Vehicle wiring uses an American Autowire kit that is well organized and labeled.

From rat rods to show queens, there are plenty of ’32 builds out there spanning a large range of price points and build qualities.  This is one of the nicer examples out there.  In addition to all the items noted above, it also comes with two binders of mechanical and electrical information along with a car cover.  It all adds up to a complete street rod that has a lot to offer its next owner.
