Seller’s Comments

I am selling my 2002 F350 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 dually which I have owned since 2008.  This is the intercooled 7.3L Powerstroke with an automatic transmission.  It just turned 300k miles.  This truck was part of my DOT file so it was subject to regular maintenance and DOT inspections.  I have a full maintenance log and receipts for the last 11 years and 150k miles.  Highlights include rebuilt injectors and a rebuilt turbocharger.  The tires were just rotated as well (thus the dirty rear wheels).

This has been the best truck I’ve owned.  It has great towing capability with 4.11 gears and lots of storage space.  It comes with a Granatelli tuner that I used in either tow mode or economy mode, depending what I was doing.  I really like how it helps the shift points when pulling a trailer.  It is very sound mechanically.  The only issue is the auto locking hubs no longer hold vacuum; every F-series I’ve owned has had this issue.  So they are essentially manual locking hubs.

The body is in pretty good condition.  The rockers and cab corners are completely solid, much better than you usually find around here.  There is some localized rust, most notably at the tailgate base and inner door bottoms.  The black factory paint has some oxidation and scratches, all pretty typical of a 1-ton work truck.  The truck also has chrome nerf bars, a plastic bedliner, and a fiberglass cap.

The grey leather interior is also in better than average condition for this year / miles.  It has never been smoked in and is free of odors.  It has the overhead console with displays for outdoor temperature, fuel economy, and fuel range.  There are all-weather floor mats in front.  There is also a Tekonsha brake controller.  Everything works including all lights and indicators, cruise control, a/c, wipers/washers, etc.

I think everyone knows that a 7.3L Powerstroke is one of the best diesels you can buy.  Being a dually 4x4 gives great utility as well.  And with a clean Autocheck report and all its maintenance history, I think this F350 is a pretty good deal.
