Seller’s Comments

Hold on there.  Do not overlook this 1967 Ford Falcon!  While everyone tends to focus on Mustangs from this era, the Falcon is essentially the same car but with sharper styling.  And this example really has a lot to offer; full rotisserie restoration, dual-quad 347ci motor, custom leather interior, gorgeous paint, and much more.  Here’s the story.

This Falcon was built at the Oakville, Ontario plant in November 1966.  Note this is a post car (2-door sedan) which yields a stronger body and was not available for the Mustang.  This car was completely stripped down and restored with only 300 miles since completion!  Take a look at the underside pictures and you’ll appreciate how much effort went into this project.  Everything looks like new.  The gorgeous blue paint and straight body really stand out as well.  Note the custom touches to the hood and rear bumper area which looks a lot sleeker than the factory design.  The 15” Torq Thrust wheels with Mickey Thompson tires are the perfect accent too.

This car came from the factory with a C-code 289 cubic inch V8.  While this is a nice engine, it has been upgraded to a new 347 cubic inch small block.  The highlight here has to be the dual quad intake with twin Edelbrock Performer carburetors, topped by the finned oval air cleaner and matching valve covers.  Other features include ceramic coated headers and an aluminum radiator.  The transmission is a robust Ford C6 automatic which feeds the Ford 8” rear end.  The brakes have been upgraded to front discs along with a dual reservoir master cylinder.  There are new parts throughout; steering, suspension, brake lines, fuel line, parking brake, etc.

This car also came from the factory with the upgraded Futura trim.  While that too is nice, the interior was completely gutted in favor of a custom leather treatment.   The high back bucket seats are far more comfortable than anything from 1967 and look right at home in the car along with the matching rear bench.  There is also a custom center console and dashboard fitted with Dolphin gauges.  Of course the carpet, door panels, and headliner are all new as well.  Everything works as it should including the wipers, horn, heater, defroster, dash lights, and courtesy lights.

You just don’t see many third generation Falcons out there, and almost never see one this nice.  And if you have ever restored a car to this extent then you know the asking price is less than half of the restoration cost.  It creates a great opportunity for someone wanting a clean, turn-key classic that stands apart from the crowd.
