Seller’s Comments

Here is an old-school 1969 Corvette 4-speed that is all set for weekend fun. Having one owner since 1994, this car is an original L46 350hp model with a replacement block and a variety of recent maintenance.

The frame appears nice and solid car, while the body has one older Tuxedo Black repaint. It shows its age in places with some localized chips and cracks, but is very sharp from a few feet away. I think the black color really looks great on an early chrome bumper C3 like this one. Side pipes were added at some point along with Keystone Klassic wheels (the original Rally wheels are included).

This was a 350hp car from the factory. The original engine block was replaced in 1997 when a connecting rod let go. The 4-speed transmission and rear end appear original. The car just received a new aluminum radiator along with a complete radiator support. The brakes were recently serviced and the parking brake cables are new. Note this Corvette has manual steering / manual brakes so you are very in touch with the road.

The interior is code ZQ4 black vinyl. This is a basic C3 setup with a fixed steering column and manual windows, along with lap and shoulder belts. The seats have been replaced as has the shifter handle. The headlights and doors work properly too.

This classic Corvette is a nice driver with just a few minor needs. The vacuum wiper door works but must be operated manually. Also the fiber optics are not very bright (fairly typical) and the radio and clock are not working. It makes for a nice way to get into a classic steel-bumper Stingray for less than $20k.
