Here is a 2018 Corvette with the Z16 Grand Sport Performance Package. This beautiful one-owner example has just 4k miles and is hardly broken in. It looks fantastic with its Arctic White paint contrasted by the optional black wheels (19x10” front, 20x12” rear) and red brake calipers. Other factory options include the awesome visual carbon fiber roof panel, carbon flash vents, and chrome badge package. The drivetrain is all stock starting with the LT1 direct injected engine with dry sump lubrication. It carries a factory rating of 460 hp and comes with the NPP performance exhaust system for a little more power and a great sound under load. The transmission is an 8L90 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters, while the electronically locking rear end employs 2.73 gears and a differential cooler. Other equipment includes the FE6 performance suspension with magnetic ride control so you can choose whatever ride you like. Braking uses Brembo 6- and 4-pison calipers which clamp slotted two-piece rotors.
Looking inside this Grand Sport 2LT reveals a two-tone interior highlighted by the dual heated / vented power seats finished in Adrenalin Red leather with sueded microfiber inserts. Chevrolet really had a great idea with the re-introduction of the Grand Sport Corvette. It fills the gap perfectly between the base Stingray and the race-bred Z06. No wonder it is considered the sweet spot of the C7 lineup. With the sleek, sharp look of a C7 wide-body along with the Grand Sport design features it is hard to miss. And with 460hp on tap it is plenty capable as well.
